Winter Solstice Vespers Service at Cedar Lane UU

Cedar Lane UU Church merrily invites our congregation to their annual Winter Solstice celebration on December 19th, 5 p.m. Music Provided by: Duo Atlantica, with Carol Ireland, Harpsichord, and Margaret Turner, Baroque Blockflote and Zachary Saraf, guitar. The winter solstice marks the longest night of the year and the start of the lengthening days. Come join a vespers celebration with music, accompanied by readings of the mystery of darkness and the joy of light. Following the service, seasonal refreshments will be served. (no dinner). Optional donations for Beacon House will be accepted: hats, scarves, mittens, unwrapped toys, or cash. The snow date is January 2nd.
