Vote on Election Day
One of the Seven Principles is the use of the democratic process in making decisions. Live that principle and exercise your right to vote by going to the polls this election season. The 2010 Maryland Gubernatorial General Election is Tuesday, November 2. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
To learn more about the candidates and the ballot referendums, you can visit the online "Build a Ballot" site at http://onyourballot3.vote411.org from the non-partisan League of Women Voters. You can also attend candidate forums or watch them on Channel 95.
All registered voters may vote on the General Election day in November.
Can't make it to the polls on Tuesday?
- Early Voting Centers are open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM continuously (voters in line at 8:00 PM may vote) on October 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, and 28. (closed on Sunday).
- St. Mary's County: Potomac Building, Room 14, at 23115 Leonard Hall Drive in Leonardtown, MD 20650
- Calvert County: 30 Duke Street, Prince Frederick, MD 20678
- Charles County Elections Office, 201 E. Charles Street, La Plata, MD 20646
- Vote by Absentee Ballot Contact your Board of Elections for the mail-in ballot by October 26. After that, you may go in person to the board of elections and pick up your application.
