RE Class: Story Tellers
The "Story Tellers" class is for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. In keeping with this year's Lifespan Religious Exploration theme, "Building a Better World," the teachers will use the curricula "In Our Hands" and "Rainbow Children", which are designed to help children learn about treating everyone fairly and taking care of each other and the world.
The content is based on the philosophy that a child's spiritual development is related to his/her direct experiences with the great force of nature; discovery of her/his surroundings; the chance to play, dream and learn cooperation; the act of making choices about present good vs. future good; and personal achievement gained through ever-growing skills and independence.
