UUFSM High School students can belong to the Young Religious Unitarian Universalists (YRUU) and will participate in four disctrict YRUU Youth Cons (conferences) this year.  In keeping with this year's Lifespan Religious Exploration Theme, "Becoming and Being a UU," the group will visit Boston in the Spring to explore and grock denominational historic sites and to engage in tourist activities.

The youth also plan local social events and social justice activities with the assistance of Youth Advisors.  Guests of UUFSM youth from all faiths can enjoy social gatherings and participate in service activities conducted in an open-minded and supportive atmosphere.  See the "Events" page for upcoming Cons and other youth events.  Events we have held in the past include:

*  Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens

*  Collecting Canned Goods for the Food Pantry

*  2009 JPD Fall Con (JoUUrney toward TrUUth) at First Unitarian in Baltimore (awesome!)

*  Help Plant a Garden at the Three Oaks Homeless Shelter

*  A Star Trek (SNG) Mystery Game night

*  Help collect and count donations for the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee

*  Movie Nights
