Highlights from the October 2011 Board Meeting

The board met on October 12th at Jim's house for an atypical, "mundane" meeting focusing on committee reports.  The renewed lease with the Chesapeake Public Charter School was discussed.  Upcoming activities and RE events were reviewed.  The possibility of offering the Our Whole Lives curriculum to both our children and youth and the broader community was discussed.  Social Justice monthly charities and service projects were highlighted. A joint event on Christmas Eve (24 December) with the Patuxent Friends (www.patuxentfriends.org) is being planned.  

Note:  This month's highlights are " very light" primarily because the board liasons have done a good job of posting information on the web (and in the newsletter).  Many thanks to all!
