Committees should begin to prepare Budget Requests
Developing our budget takes place over several months.
- January: Committees and Teams discuss how much money they expect to need for 2010-2011
- 7 February: Committee Chairs hand in budget requests to the Treasurer
- March: UUFSM holds our annual canvass, and people turn in their pledges
- April: Based on the results of the canvass, the Finance Committee develops a preliminary budget, which the Board reviews
- 2 May: A Budget Town Hall is held so that people can discuss any issues or concerns about the proposed budget
- 15 May Board Meeting: The final budget report is approved by the Board then sent to the Annual Report preparers
- 23 May: the Annual Report is distributed to Members.
- 6 June 2010: Members of the Fellowship vote on the Budget during our Annual Meeting
Each Team /Committee should discuss what money they expect to spend next year and develop a budget request for 2010-2011. Please hand in all your budget requests to the Treasurer by Sunday, 7 February 2010.
