We have long defined ourselves as an association of congregations. We need to think of ourselves as a religious movement. The difference is potentially huge. Congregations as local parishes arose in a different era. They arose in a time of limited mobility and communication. Most members lived within a couple of miles of their church.

Annual Reports are due to the Secretary by 1 May 2012. Board Liaisons should oversee their interest area and make sure each team, committee, group, or activity has a report sent to the Secretary [at] uufsm [dot] org by 1 May 2012. You can use last year's report as a template.
Nominating Committee Meeting: March 2012
The Nominating Committee will meet to prepare the membership list for the Annual Meeting and to finalize the election slate for the positions of Board Secretary, three Board members-at-large, and two members of the Nominating Committee. The election slate and the membership list will be sent to the Board of Trustees in time for their April Board Meeting.
