Living History: UUs in Civil Rights
The Living Legacy Project is trying to capture some Unitarian Universalist history that is moving toward the early edges of living memory. Veterans of the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 60s who were Unitarian Universalists then or who are UUs now are invited to gather with their peers March 30-31 and April 1 in Asheville, North Carolina. The program will be planned around those who are attending, with panel discussions and individual oral history interviews. Dr.

Founded in 1981, Hospice of St. Mary's was started by a group of community volunteers under the direction of Dr. Patrick Jarboe. Public Forum on Health Care Reform in Annapolis
A forum on Health Care Reform in Maryland will be held January 23, 2012, under the auspices of the Maryland Women’s Coalition for Health Care Reform and the League of Women Voters of Maryland. The purpose of the forum is to hear about the work that has already been done, and make recommendations for additional work needed, to bring into being Maryland’s Health Benefit Exchange. This exchange will be the source of health care coverage for people who are uninsured or under-insured when the exchange goes into effect on January 1, 2014.
2011 Holiday Giving at UUFSM
Our holiday collection of Hats and Gloves for the Three Oaks Center yielded 25 items. Children at the Fellowship wrapped the gifts after the service on December 18. They were delivered to the Three Oaks Center.
In February, we'll be holding a Food Drive for a local food bank.
