Letter from the Minister
Hello UUFSM,
So far, UUFSM has 5-6 people that directly help children. Of course, they are mostly parents themselves and do this already through the week. It would best reflect our mission and vision statements if people outside what is normally "kid space," i.e. the RE classrooms, would visit with our children, help us... grow.
Deadline for October Newsletter
Please have all information for the October Newsletter (worship service descriptions, schedules, meetings, RE Class descriptions, events) uploaded to the website or sent to bulletin [at] uufsm [dot] org by 29 September.
Needed: Chalice Guild members
Each Sunday, we need to transform a lunch room into a sanctuary for our worship services. Members of the Chalice Guild make this happen by hanging up banners, laying out the flowers for the Joys and Concerns, and setting up the Chalice Table. We urgently need more people to help with this important and fun task. Printed guidelines are available, and experienced members of the Guild will help get you started.
If you can help by arriving a little bit early on a Sunday to decorate and make the sanctuary beautiful, please put your name in the SignUp book on the week(s) you want.
